Nestled in the heart of South Memphis, Tennessee, Eureka M. B. Church is a small congregation with a tremendous heart for GOD and His people. Under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Leonard Mason, Sr., our church family is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthening Christian fellowship, and extending the love of GOD to everyone who enters our doors.

Becoming a Member of the Body of CHRIST
Before becoming a member of a local congregation, the most important decision anyone can make is to accept JESUS CHRIST as their personal Lord and Savior.
At Eureka Missionary Baptist Church, we follow the Biblical guidance outlined in Romans 10:9–11 (KJV) concerning Salvation:
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

These powerful words remind us that Salvation is available to all who sincerely believe in Jesus Christ, confess Him as Lord, and place their faith in Him.
No matter your background, your past, or where you find yourself in life’s journey, the invitation to receive CHRIST is extended to you!
How to Join Eureka Missionary Baptist Church
We joyfully welcome individuals who desire to become part of our congregation and grow in their Christian walk. There are two primary pathways to membership:
1. Candidates for Baptism — New Believers in CHRIST
For those who have newly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, Eureka MBC welcomes you as a Candidate for Baptism.
Baptism is a sacred act of obedience and a public declaration of one’s faith in Jesus Christ. As a Missionary Baptist congregation, we follow the Biblical example of Jesus Christ, who was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River.
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Following this Biblical example, new believers are encouraged to publicly profess their faith in CHRIST and prepare for Baptism under the guidance of our pastoral leadership.
We consider it a tremendous blessing to walk alongside new believers as they begin their journey of Christian discipleship.
2. Membership by Letter of Christian Experience — Existing Christians
If you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, have been baptized, and are seeking a new church home, Eureka Missionary Baptist Church warmly welcomes you!
Existing Christians may request membership by presenting a Letter of Christian Experience from their previous church, congregation, or pastoral leadership.
This letter serves as an acknowledgment of your previous Christian fellowship and provides an opportunity to continue your spiritual journey as part of the Eureka MBC family.
Our pastor and congregation look forward to embracing you in Christian fellowship, encouraging your spiritual growth, and helping you discover opportunities to use your GOD-given gifts in service to His Kingdom.
