The word, “eureka” means “I have found it,” marking a new and beautiful discovery. This word is commonly used to express triumph – such as the remarkable victory that Jesus claimed on the Cross.
Now, every believer who accepts Christ as his or her Lord & Savior has discovered a beautiful new beginning as a “new creature in Christ. Old things have passed away and all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Whether you are a new or seasoned believer or have not yet come to Christ, your eureka awaits! Every individual who enters the doors of 1595 Lamar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee is welcomed into the warmth of family, faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love! (1 Corinthians 13)
The Pastor and the entire Eureka Missionary Baptist Church are so thankful that God has guided you to this House of Worship today. We graciously extend to each of you the comfort of this edifice and the hospitality of our members.
You have made our hearts glad with your presence, and we pray that you are blessed through our Worship Service. We trust you will find within our Church the warmth of Christian fellowship, inspiration from worship, and the peace from an awareness of God’s presence.
We invite you to return Eureka again, and when you get tired of visiting us, please join us!
